We recently completed conference room upgrades for a builder in San Diego, transforming their space into an optimal environment for virtual meetings.

The audio set up let to in room and remote participants not being able to hear one another. And, video was a challenge too due to the equipment they had.

Solution: To resolve these conferencing issues, the San Diego builder brought Shultz Audio Video in. After seeing the room and understanding the issues, we recommended Yamaha’s ADECIA Ceiling Microphone and PoE Line Array Speaker Solution for audio. And for crystal clear video, we recommend Atlona’s PTZ Camera.

The solution included one RM-CG ceiling microphone, one RM-CR signal processor, one network switch, and two line array speakers. The RM-CG dynamic ceiling array microphone features multi-beam tracking technology which focuses on voices. While the speakers provide optimum sound for meetings, making use of the excellent projection provided by the VXL1-16P to ensure ample volume and clarity right to the back of the room.

In addition to this, it also included one PTZ Camera mounted directly under the screen they use in their meeting room. This enterprise-grade PTZ camera designed for use in video conferencing delivers high performance, professional-quality imaging with video resolutions up to 1080p @ 30 Hz, as well as fast and accurate auto-focusing, and a fast yet quiet pan and tilt mechanism.

Result: The ADECIA system completely transformed the whole dynamic. Now, everyone can hear the person who is speaking on both ends (those joining in-person and those joining remotely). And, our client can see even the finest details with their new PTZ camera.

Solution: To resolve the solution also included a Barco Clickshare CX-50. ClickShare CX-50 enables wireless conferencing in meeting spaces. When you walk into the meeting room, ClickShare automatically connects you to room devices like cameras, mics, speakers, sound bars and displays. Now our client can start a meeting from their laptop within seconds, using their preferred video conferencing platform.  

Result: Meeting setup time was significantly reduced. They now have a smoothly operated, user-friendly conference room that anyone can use with their own device (BYOD).
